In the summer of 2019 artist Adam Swanson, in collaboration with the homeless and at-risk youth at Life House painted a massive mural on the shelter in downtown Duluth. Wherehouse Productions was hired to document the team's process.
Local leaders wrote a grant aiming to explore the land use in the Canal Park area of Duluth. Joe filmed the team as they connected with local businesses and community advocates to test new ways of using the popular space. This short video follows Imagine Canal Park throughout an entire year.
The Farm To School Program has a noble goal of bringing fresh food, as well as education and a connection to the land that produces it. Healthy Northland worked with the Duluth Public Schools to bring students to UMD's Sustainable Agriculture Program test plot to learn and explore.
Produced for Duluth's PBS affiliate "Historic Trails in Northern Minnesota" is the first in a prospective series about the local trail systems, how they've impacted our history and drive our future.
